Northeast Milton-Freewater to receive leaf pickup starting Monday

MILTON-FREEWATER – Leaf pickup continues in Milton-Freewater Monday with homes in the northeast portion of the city, homes east of North Elizabeth and north of Broadway, receiving the service through Friday.
Residents can have their piles of leaves bagged or left in piles on the street near the curb and they will be picked without charge by city crews.
The pickup schedule will be completed Dec. 8 through the 12th with the northwest portion of the city for homes west of North Elizabeth and north of Broadway.
Leaves can also be dropped off at a designated drop box at the County Road recycling depot.
