North Powder student Bella Brandt takes second place in Oregon Congressional Art Competition

NORTH POWDER – The 2nd Oregon Congressional District recently announced that North Powder Charter School student Bella Brandt has been named as the regional winner (equivalent of 2nd place) for the 2024 Oregon Congressional art competition for the second district. Overseen by a panel of three judges, including La Grande local Michael Sell, Bella’s art piece, Isolationism, (Which can be seen above) was one of 40 submissions for the 2024 competition in the district, coming in just behind Phoenix High School student Tyler Corea’s Strawberries for the first-place spot.

In recognition of Bella’s work, Isolationism will now be displayed at one of the 2nd congressional district offices in Medford.
