No parking on snow removal routes in Sumpter

SUMPTER — The City of Sumpter’s Public Works team and City Hall staff have issued some important information regarding guidance for snow removal in the winter months. Read the full release posted below:

Winter weather is upon us! With the coming change in weather the city would like to offer the following guidance to ensure effective snow removal. The city asks the public to please move all vehicles off designated snow removal routes and to please use driveways and off-road parking when possible. The city would also like to remind the public to please remove trash containers from the street as soon as possible after collection is completed to help prevent obstructions for our snowplow team. These general reminders help keep our roads clear and help prevent any delays from snow removal and our emergency response vehicles. Thank you for helping keep our city streets safe and operational during winter weather.
