No parking along Hwy. 26 or 395C in town for snow removal

JOHN DAY/CANYON CITY – Folks in John Day and Canyon City are asked not to park along East and West Main Street, as well as along South Canyon and Canyon City Blvd. beginning tonight. According to John Day Public Works Manager Casey Myers, ODOT will be plowing snow from the sides to the middle of the road beginning at 7.p.m. tonight and continuing tomorrow. City workers will then begin removing the street piles tomorrow.
Again, people will need to avoid parking along Highway 26 and US 395C within John Day and Canyon City limits tonight and tomorrow to accommodate for snow removal. Follow ODOT’s Tripcheck.com for travel updates.
