No injuries to humans or cats in Ontario RV fire

On February 14, 2026, at approximately 11:59 PM, Ontario Fire & Rescue (OF&R) was dispatched for a fully involved RV with other RV’s threatened, at River Point RV Park, 225 SE 10th Street, in Ontario. At 12:00 AM, a general page was sent out to alert off-duty staff. Engine 103 (crew of three) and Command 100 (crew of one) responded and found one RV and a passenger vehicle fully involved with fire. Engine 103’s crew began suppression and forced entry into a nearby RV to remove cats that were inside. Engine 101 (crew of four) arrived several minutes later to assist with suppression efforts. One RV and a passenger vehicle were destroyed in the fire. Two nearby RV’s sustained minor damage. All occupants in the affected RVs were able to be self-evacuate. There were no injuries to humans or animals in the fire. In total, seven firefighters and one command staff member responded to the fire. Ontario Police Department and Treasure Valley Paramedics assisted in the operation. The Ontario Volunteer Firefighters Association burnout fund was used to secure lodging for the occupant who lost the RV and the American Red Cross has been contacted to assist as well. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
