WALLA WALLA COUNTY – Charges will not be filed against Shyla Marie Jordan, 49, of La Grande due to evidentiary and factural issues. She was arrested by the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 18 for attempted vehicular assault.
Jordan and her husband (who has not been identified) got their vehicle stuck in the snow on Pikes Peak Road at Foster Road. Upset about the situation, Jordan’s husband allegedly hit her in the face with a flashlight. After he got out and started walking away from the scene, Jordan was able to free the vehicle from the snow and allegedly hit her husband with the vehicle, causing minor injuries.
A case against’s Jordan’s husband is being reviewed by the Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
