LAS VEGAS – Tuesday was a lucky day for both Oregon cowboys competing in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
T.J. Gray of Dairy finished at the top of the heap in bull riding. He chalked up a 90.5 on Blue Duck. Only one other bull rider had a complete ride. Bryce Jensen had a score of 76. Gray pockets $62,986.
Baker City’s Jesse Brown placed third in steer wrestling in a tie with Bridger Anderson with times of 4.3 seconds. They each earned $18,630.
The NFR continues through Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Arena.
