WALLA WALLA – The city of Walla Walla has announced the opening of a new utility payment drop box designed to streamline the payment process for local residents.
The new box is located in the alley driveway situated between Walla Walla City Hall and the Walla Walla Title Company. This drive-up location allows customers to submit payments without exiting their vehicles, which officials say will make the process faster, more convenient, and more secure. City staff are scheduled to collect payments from the new drop box twice daily.
Drivers are reminded that the alleyway operates as a one-way street. Motorists must enter the alley through the parking lot behind city hall and exit onto Third Avenue. While vehicle traffic is restricted to one direction, pedestrians can access the drop box from either end of the alley.
The relocation marks the end of service for the current drop box situated on Third Avenue next to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers building. That location is scheduled to close officially on April 30.
Residents with questions regarding the new location or the transition period are encouraged to contact the Customer Service team via phone at 509-527-4423 or through email at ar@wallawallawa.gov.
