New seasonal warming center established in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County and the cities of College Place and Walla Walla are funding a new warming center at the Walla Walla Housing Authority Gym, 501 Cayuse St. in Walla Walla.

Operated by Blue Mountain Action Council, the facility opens 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. when temperatures are forecast at 20 degrees or lower by the National Weather Service.
