New rules for the City of Vale’s Brush Pit

VALE — Due to previous misuse of the City of Vale’s Brush Pit, those who wish to use it will now have to provide collateral when checking out a key from City Hall.
Beginning August 25th, providing your debit/credit card or a $25 cash deposit is required when using the Brush Pit, “…to help ensure that all keys are returned after use,” according to city officials. They stated, “Once the key is returned, your card or $25 cash deposit will be returned to you.”
For those who do not return the key, the $25 deposit will be forfeited, or the credit/debit card will be charged accordingly.
