PENDLETON – The biggest growth in the city of Pendleton is going on at the top of Airport Hill. Economic Development Director Steve Chrisman said that with all the new business from the UAS industry, the Radisson Hotel being built at the airport is needed.
“March of 2022 I believe is what they’re targeting for the opening,” Chrisman said. “I wouldn’t be sad if it got open a little earlier.”
The terminal itself is due for renovation in a year or so. In addition, hangars are going up and more are planned.
“Our machine shop is growing,” Chrisman said. “There are new companies coming in all the time. We’ve got some exciting projects going on here.”
