New Hampshire couple convicted of crimes against children in Walla Walla County

WALLA WALLA – Francis E. Hebert, 53, and Hannah D. Hebert, 49, from New Hampshire, were found guilty last month in Walla Walla County Superior Court of multiple crimes against two children.
Mr. Hebert was charged with first, second, and third-degree rape of a child, first-degree child molestation, and two counts of first-degree incest. Mrs. Hebert was charged as an accomplice to these crimes. They were acquitted of tampering with a witness at trial.
The abuse was reported in September 2022. It allegedly began in 2013 when the Heberts were living in Dixie, then continued when the Heberts moved to Walla Walla in 2018.
Sentencing is set for Sept. 15, pending the completion of a Washington State Department of Corrections pre-sentencing investigation report.
