MONROE COUNTY, Pennsylvania – The man suspected of killing four University of Idaho students in November will be brought back to Moscow, Idaho to face charges. Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary.

He is accused of murdering Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21 on November 13.

Kohberger, a Washington State University graduate student, was arrested at his parent’s home in Pennsylvania last week where he returned after completing fall semester in Pullman, Washington.

At a brief hearing Tuesday afternoon in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Kohberger waived his extradition and mouthed “I love you” to his family before being escorted from the courtroom.

Officials are now arranging for Kohberger’s transport back to Idaho – a process generally kept secret due to security concerns.
