John Day ODHS says resources are available

JOHN DAY – ODHS Community Partnership Coordinator Levi Anderson was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Tuesday, along with local Family Coach Krista Qual to discuss the ODHS Self Sufficiency program, and options that are available for local people in need.
Anderson said that in the past, people were required to come to their office in person to get any application processes started. He said that’s a different story now:
“Today, we have a variety of ways. Folks can either still come into the office and handle business that way, but they’re also more than welcome to do everything over the phone. We can even obtain a verbal signature on the phone, and so we don’t really have a need for a completed application to be turned in or submitted.”
