Multiple Soroptimist International scholarships open for La Grande students

LA GRANDE – For women in Union County interested in starting or resuming higher education, Soroptimist International of La Grande has opened applications for multiple spring education scholarships (Academic year 2024-2025). These scholarships are available for Union County high school seniors and graduates as well as longtime Union County residents. The application deadline is April 5 for all scholarships. Available scholarships are as follows:
- EOU Senior Education Funding
- Continuing Education funding
- Union County High School Graduate Education Funding
- Pro/Tech Award:
- (Additional description by Soroptimist) “For students looking at technical, vocational or a trade school. These schools focus on career preparation, giving you all of the skills you need to enter careers like electrician, carpentry, auto mechanic, or certain technology and medical fields, etc. Will consider certification up to a two-year degree.”
