Multiple agencies respond to outbuilding fire

WALLA WALLA – Firefighters from Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4, along with other agencies, battled an outbuilding fire Thursday morning on the 4000 block of Stateline Road, west of Old Milton Highway.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., crews were initially dispatched to a barn fire. Deputy Chief John Golden said when crews arrived, they quickly learned it was a large outbuilding measuring approximately 40 feet by 80 feet.
Due to the size of the fire, mutual aid was received from the College Place Fire Department, Walla Walla Fire Department and Walla Walla County Fire District No. 6.
No injuries were reported. The outbuilding was deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
