Multiple agencies extinguish fire near Adrian

ADRIAN — Multiple fire agencies responded to a reported brush fire near Adrian on May 21^st. According to the Nyssa Fire Department, the Adrian Fire Department requested mutual aid from NFD, Parma Rural Fire & EMS, and Vale BLM. Nyssa Fire provided assistance with their Brush 453, 506, and Tender 402 rigs.

NFD reports, “Fortunately, the swift action of Owyhee Irrigation District employees enabled them to quickly control the fire, preventing any damage. Appreciation is extended to all parties involved for their role in this successful fire stop, including Parma Rural Fire & EMS [&] Vale, BLM.”
