Mountaineers Lacrosse announces 2022 schedule

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by EOU Athletics) Eastern Oregon University Women’s Lacrosse is excited to announce its 2022 schedule! The second season for the Mountaineers is just two weeks away from starting and the team has a full schedule on deck, which features 11 standalone games and a tournament.
Fans will get a chance to watch Mountaineers Lacrosse at home five times this year. All home games this season will be played at Community Stadium. Seven of EOU’s games will be pitted up against NCAA Division III opponents.
The other four match-ups will be against Cascade Collegiate Conference members Corban and Multnomah University twice, respectively. Along with the 11 standalone games, Eastern will compete at the Boise State Tournament over a two-day span, March 12-13, with opponents to be determined.
The 2022 season opener will be Saturday Feb. 12 on the road at Whitworth University with action beginning at 12 p.m. The following weekend, the Mountaineers will host a pair of opponents for the home opener. They take on Willamette Saturday, Feb. 19 followed by Linfield on Sunday, Feb. 20. Both games ars scheduled for 1 p.m. starts.
EOU closes out the month of February at the Whitman Classic against two opponents. Eastern will face tournament host Whitman College on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. before taking on Whitworth on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
The month of March will begin with the Mountaineers taking on fellow CCC member Corban University in Salem. The two squads square off Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m. Following the Boise State Tournament March 12-13, EOU will then return home for a pair of contests. They take on Multnomah Saturday, March 19 and Whitman on Sunday, March 20. Game time for both contents will be at 1 p.m.
The Mountaineers wrap up the month of March with a road game at University of Puget Sound. The match-up with the Loggers is set for March 26 at 1 p.m. The following week, EOU heads to Salem for a second time to battle Corban on April 2 at 1 p.m.
The 2022 regular season finale is scheduled for April 16 at home against Multnomah. Game time will be at 1 p.m. To see the full 2022 schedule, click the link above.
