Mountaineers football announces 2022 recruiting class

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by EOU Athletics) Mountaineers Football and Head Coach Tim Camp are excited to announce their initial 2022 recruiting class. The group is made up of 21 student-athletes that signed National Letters of Intent to play at EOU. This class will join the Mounties in the fall of 2022.
The group is made up of 17 true freshmen and four transfers across four different states in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Three athletes are already on campus and the true freshman will join the Mounties in the fall of 2022.
Speaking about the 2022 class, Mountaineers Head Football Coach Tim Camp said, “Every coaching staff in the country was excited leading up to National Signing Day and we were certainly no exception. With as big as this initial class is, we wanted to make sure we had everything sorted before announcing. I am confident that the 21 young men that are joining our program will help us compete in the Frontier Conference for championships on the field and they will be terrific representatives of our program, our university and our community.”
