Motorcycle versus van on HWY 20

Harney County-Monday June 19, 2023, Oregon State Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a van on US 20, approximately 15 miles west of Riley.

Evidence and statements indicated a white van was westbound on US 20, turning left onto a gravel road. As the van turned left, a motorcycle traveling westbound behind the van, initialed a pass and subsequently impacted the front driver’s side of the van. The van and the motorcycle can to a rest off the roadway were both were inoperable.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Harney District Hospital. The driver of the van was not injured.
