Motor vehicle crash leads to death on Hines logging Road

HARNEY COUNTY(Press Release issued by Harney County Sheriff’s Office)-On March 11, 2025 at about 2:54 pm the Harney County Dispatch Center was notified of a single vehicle crash on the Hines Logging Road about 1/2 mile North of the intersection of the Hines Logging Road and Dapple Gray Road. Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene.

Deputies who responded to the scene determined the driver of the vehicle to be Clint Troy Starbuck. Mr. Starbuck was deceased from injuries resulting from the crash. Mr. Starbuck’s next of kin were notified.

This case remains under investigation. The Harney County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on this case by the Hines Police Department, Burns Police Department and Oregon State Police.
