Morrow County Sheriff’s searching for missing kayaker at Willow Creek Reservoir

HEPPNER – The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office said they’re currently conducting a search and recovery option after a Sunday evening report of a kayaker who went under water.

A post on the MCSO Facebook page said they received the 911 call Sunday evening reporting the adult male who did not resurface at Willow Creek Reservoir near Heppner.

A designated family and spectator area has been set up near the docks, but officials are asking people to stay clear of the area to allow search teams to operate.
