Morgan Lake near La Grande closes for the season this weekend

LA GRANDE – A reminder to La Grande and Union County residents, Morgan Lake Park near La Grande will close tomorrow, November 1^st, so enjoy it while you can! Recreationists have one final day to enjoy the lake and campground before the entrance gate is closed, and facilities locked up for the season. The park will reopen in the spring.

Morgan Lake Campground is open seasonally for day-use and overnight camping April 22 through October 31^st each year, with the park being closed late fall through early spring each year in coordination with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The closure includes all foot and vehicle traffic.
