PENDLETON – Chart-topping country stars Craig Morgan and Clint Black will co-headline the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Kick-Off Concert, presented by Integrity Corps., at the Happy Canyon Arena on Saturday, Sept. 9. Tickets go on sale March 23.

GRAMMY-winner Clint Black has one of the most storied careers in modern country music, with more than 20 million album sales since his debut album, Killin’ Time, was released in 1989. He has 22 No. 1 singles to his credit, and he wrote or co-wrote every single one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including “A Better Man,” “Killin’ Time,” “When My Ship Comes In.” “Good Run of Bad Luck,” and “Nothin’ But the Taillights.”

Besides having more than a dozen awards for his music in both the U.S. and Canada, Black also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition to touring throughout North America, Black also hosts his own television talk show on Circle TV called “Talking in Circles.”

Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, television personality, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. He’s charted 25 songs on Billboard in his career, including “Bonfire,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Almost Home,” “International Harvester,” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” Prior to becoming a country music star, the Grand Ole Opry inductee spent more than 17 years serving his country in the Army and Army Reserves. He’s still a strong supporter of our military, and has made 16 overseas trips to perform for the troops. He is a recipient of the 2006 USO Merit Award and in 2018 was awarded the Army’s Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, one of the highest honors the Army can bestow upon a civilian, in recognition of his support of troops around the world.

Morgan has taken the outdoor skills he learned in the Army and put them to use on the new television series “Beyond the Edge” (CBS/Paramount+). This fall, Morgan will release his memoir, God, Family, Country, in partnership with Blackstone Publishing. He details all aspects from his inspiring life, revealing never-before-heard stories including how he worked alongside the CIA as a soldier in Panama, fought sex traffickers as an undercover agent in Thailand, forged his own path to country music stardom, and lives his life by the deepest values: God, family, country.

“We are so excited to have not one, but two incredible country music icons take the Happy Canyon stage to kick off a great week,” said Happy Canyon President Kenzie Hansell. “This is sure to be an outstanding concert that will appeal to so many fans.”

Round-Up President Karl Farber agreed.

“To have these two incredible artists come to Pendleton to kick off the week is amazing,” Farber said. “We can’t wait for everyone to see this show and have some fun.”

Tickets for the concert, presented by Integrity Corps., go on sale Thursday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. To reserve tickets, visit www.pendletonroundup.com or call 541-276-2553.
