Monument students travel to Boston on Flying Tigers trip

MONUMENT – High schoolers and chaperones from Monument School District recently got back from the east coast on their Flying Tigers trip. Monument students get the unique opportunity to choose and travel to a far destination every two years. Chaperone Christie Emerson was on KJDY’s Coffee Time to explain the trip:

“We went to Boston, Massachusetts. There were 19 of us—4 adults and 15 students. We did a number of things; we went to the Plymouth Museum, the Mayflower, Plymouth Grist Mill, 17th Century English village, and many, many more things.”
