Miner’s Jubilee is this weekend, watch for extra traffic and pedestrians

BAKER CITY – The annual Miner’s Jubilee, three-day celebration is this weekend in Baker City.  This is a celebration of the county’s gold mining heritage that has been held annually since the late 1800’s. 

According to organizers, “Miners’ Jubilee is held on the third weekend of July in Baker City, Oregon. Miners’ Jubilee makes the heritage and history of Baker County come to life with a parade, vendors in the park, a huge food court, sidewalk fair, mining demonstrations, and kids’ activities. Bronc Riding Friday night and Bull Riding Saturday night create a full weekend of events that draws family and class reunions to Baker City every year.”

If you plan to attend of will be traveling through Baker City this Friday-Sunday (July 15-17) please watch for an increased number of pedestrians and traffic.
