PORTLAND – Todd Alan Alexander, 46, of Milton-Freewater, entered a guilty plea Friday in Multnomah County Circuit Court to one count of prostitution procurement, a misdemeanor.

Alexander, a regional winemaker, was among 30 people arrested or cited on Jan. 1 by the Portland Police Bureau for commercial sexual solicitation during a human trafficking mission.

According to court documents, Alexander must complete a sex buyers’ accountability and diversion program. He must also obey the law, have no contact with known pimps or prostitutes, plus not access or post on any websites routinely used for sex work.

If he completes the program, the charges will be dismissed. If not, there will be a five-day jail sanction. Alexander’s sentencing has been scheduled for Sept. 10.
