UPDATE: The Milton-Freewater Police Department released new details Thursday into Tuesday afternoon’s high and run collision involving a vehicle that ran into the La Lavanderia Laundromat, 710 Plaza Way.
Chief Joe Shurtz said a detective found video of the whole incident and identified the driver, Dilma Gomez Sanchez, 27, of Milton-Freewater, who is still being sought for charges.
During the incident, German Graves Aguirre, 55, of Milton-Freewater was found to assist Sanchez and was arrested for tampering with evidence.
Anyone with information about Sanchez’s whereabouts is asked to call police.

MILTON-FREEWATER – The Milton-Freewater Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision involving a vehicle that ran into the La Lavanderia Laundromat, 710 Plaza Way.
At 3:32 p.m. Tuesday, a postal carrier reported to police a Honda Civic collided with the business. The collision caused damage to the front of the laundromat.
MFPD said the driver fled the scene in the suspect vehicle before officers arrived.
