MILTON-FREEWATER – Milton-Freewater Police Chief Joe Shurtz reports that last Thursday at 8:15 p.m., officers heard multiple gunshots on the 300 block of South Mill Street. Officers saw a black sedan leaving the area and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. Four people were detained and questioned by MFPD detectives.
Shurtz said that upon further investigation, officers located evidence of a shooting which including casings and damages to vehicles. No names were released of those questioned.
