MFPD investigates another burglary at Chinese restaurant

MILTON-FREEWATER – Detectives from the Milton-Freewater Police Department are investigating a burglary at the Red Tea Garden Chinese Restaurant, 14 N. Columbia St.

Chief Joe Shurtz said the burglary happened sometime early Saturday morning. It appears the suspect entered the restaurant by breaking a window. Once inside, the suspect took approximately $4,500 in cash.

Detectives are reviewing videos captured from multiple locations around the area to try and develop leads on the suspect.
