LA GRANDE โ Oregon State Police recently arrested a Meridian Idaho man on I-84 near La Grande for driving under the influence at two and a half times the legal blood alcohol limit.
On Tuesday, November 25, at around 9:30 p.m., OSP responded to a report of a Toyota truck driving erratically and dangerously. 42-Year-old Mitchell Craig Pizer of Meridian was stopped by OSP along I-84 Westbound near milepost 264, just outside of La Grande, and arrested for DUII with a .20 BAC. The full summary of the arrest, as provided by OSP in a recent press log, is as follows:
โOn the above stated date and time, the Oregon State Police received a driving complaint about a Toyota truck speeding, swerving, and cutting vehicles off. The vehicle was pulled over at mile post 264 I84 for not maintaining lane. The Trooper concluded after observations and specific standardized tests that the driver was under the influence of intoxicants. The driver was booked in the Union County Corrections Facility for DUII and had a blood alcohol content of .20%. The vehicle was towed by Wagon Tire Towing.โ
