Menacing charge lands man in Grant County Jail

CANYON CITY – It will be jail time for a man who violated his probation and pleaded guilty to a menacing charge.

Grant County Court documents show that Yazzie Kevin Voigt, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of Menacing—Constituting Domestic Violence, occurring in June of this year.

Voigt was sentenced to a total of 40 days in jail and placed on Supervised Probation with special conditions for 18 months. One count was dismissed with no conviction.
