Medical emergency triggers crash near Milton-Freewater

MILTON-FREEWATER – A Washington state man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency and crashing his vehicle into a residential yard near Milton-Freewater.

According to an Oregon State Police report, the 40-year-old Walla Walla man was traveling north in a black GMC Yukon on State Route 339 when the medical episode occurred. His vehicle crossed over Cobb Road and went through a fence before striking a tree on the property.

The driver was transported to a hospital in Washington for treatment. Police said no enforcement action was taken, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
