CANYON CITY – A man was recently convicted in Grant County Circuit Court on multiple counts across three different cases, with crimes stemming back as far as 2017.
According to court documents, Brogan Charles Mckrola, 24, was convicted on the following charges, based on both guilty and No Contest pleas:
-2 felony counts of Coercion–No Contest
-Aggravated Animal Abuse in the 1st Degree (felony)–No Contest
-Attempt to Commit a Class A Felony – Sodomy in the 1st Degree (felony) —Guilty
-Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree (misdemeanor)–No Contest
-Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree (felony)–Guilty
-Rape in the 3rd Degree (felony)–Guilty
-Sodomy in the 3rd Degree (felony)–No Contest
Mckrola was sentenced to a total of 180 months in prison (15 years). He was also sentenced to 10 years on Post-Prison Supervision. A total of 25 various counts were disposed with no conviction.
