McKrola indicted on 22 counts following arrest on Tuesday

CANYON CITY, OR – (Press Release from District Attorney Jim Carpenter)

On May 26, 2021, Brogan C. McKrola (22) was arraigned in Grant County Circuit Court on a 22-count indictment that charged him with six counts of Rape in the First Degree, one  count  of Unlawful Sexual  Penetration in  the  First  Degree, one count of Sodomy in the First Degree, one count of Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree, four counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, one count of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, three counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, one count of Kidnapping in the First Degree, one count of Luring a Minor, two counts of Aggravated Animal Abuse in the First Degree, and one count of Harassment.  

The Honorable Judge Erin K. Landis (Malheur) ordered defendant held in custody, pending bail set at $870,000.00. The case was scheduled for a further appearance on June 7, 2021.
