May 7-13 is National Correctional Officers Week

BAKER COUNTY – (Release from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) This week (May 7-13, 2023) we recognize our Corrections Deputies during National Correctional Officers Week. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan announced the first week in May would be set aside to honor those in the corrections field.

BCSO Corrections Deputies exemplify integrity, strength and professionalism in what can often be a difficult job. They play a vital role in the criminal justice system and truly care about our community.

We are grateful for their commitment and sacrifice.
