WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Department of Community Health and its partners are planning a mass vaccination clinic on Saturday, March 20 at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds. The clinic, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will have an estimated 2,300 first-dose appointments available for eligible residents. Scheduling for the event begins at 8 a.m. Monday.

This will include those in Phase 1B, Tier 2, who become eligible soon. Those are high-risk critical workers in a number of fields. Those include agriculture, fishing vessel crews, food processing, grocery stores, corrections facility employees, public transit, and remaining first responders. It also includes anyone 16 or older who is pregnant and those with a disability that puts them at a higher risk.

Those who are interested in participating can complete the Washington Department of Health phase finder tool and either print out or take a screenshot of their eligibility verification to show at their scheduled appointment.

After completing the phase finder tool, people can schedule an appointment at https://www.covidwwc.com and click on the “upcoming vaccine clinics” link. No walk-in appointments will be accepted. Residents without internet or computer access can call the help line at 509-524-2647.
