Many are participating in Halloween activities

LA GRANDE – La Grande will be having their Main Street Trick or Treat on Friday, October 29th. Streets will be closed in the downtown area with the event taking place from 4 to 6 pm and a costume contest beginning at 5:30 at the corner of Adams and Depot.
The City of Union will conduct its Halloween event at the Union High School parking lot on October 31st. Set-up will begin at 3 pm and the actual event takes place from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Other towns will have a Trunk or Treat on Halloween night from 4 to 6 at the Cove High School parking lot and in Elgin downtown. In Wallowa County, Joseph will hold their Trick or Treat Saturday, October 30th, and the town of Wallowa will have their Trunk or Treat Halloween night, downtown from 3 to 5, there will be prizes for the best-decorated Trunk or Treat, and refreshments for young and old.In Baker County the town of Huntington will host a Trunk or Treat Halloween night from 4 to 7 at the Lions Park, Sumpter’s Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 30th from 2:00 to 4:00, and in Baker City the Kiwanis Trick or Treat downtown will be held, Saturday, October 30th from 4:00 to 6:00.
