Man Throws Traffic Citation Out Window, Resulting in Citation for Offensive Littering

BAKER COUNTY -Throwing his traffic violation out the window resulted in a criminal citation recently from Oregon State Police (OSP).  According to reports from OSP in Baker County, the incident began when driving complaints were made for hazardous driving. 

OSP was able to locate the commercial motor vehicle along I-84 at mile 287m west of Baker City.  During the stop, the driver, 30-year-old Hector Acevedo Valencia of Kennewick, Washington was located and cited for several traffic infractions. This caused Valencia to become upset resulting in him throwing the traffic citations out of the passenger side door and onto the ground. 


Valencia was detained until he was issued a criminal citation for offensive littering, at which time he was released.
