Man sentenced to time in Grant County Jail for menacing

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on a menacing charge, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Casey James Wood, 39, was convicted on one count of Menacing, stemming from an incident in late November of last year.
Wood was sentenced to 48 hours in jail and 12 months on Bench Probation. Court records indicate that Wood was ordered to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended upon successful completion of probation, and he may not receive credit for time served.
