Man sentenced to probation in Grant County harassment case

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time on probation following conviction on a Grant County assault charge. LaDon Earl Madison, 60, pleaded guilty to Assault in the Fourth Degree, committed on or about August 13th, 2026.
Madison was sentenced to 18 months on bench probation, which includes completion of 120 hours of community service and obtaining an anger management assessment. One count was disposed with no conviction.
