Man sentenced to probation for domestic violence assault and trespassing

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time on probation for domestic violence, trespassing, and more, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Michael Shane Griffin, 46, pleaded No Contest to Assault in the Fourth Degree—Constituting Domestic Violence, Resisting Arrest and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Griffin was sentenced to 24 months on Supervised Probation. The charges stem from June and July of this year.
