Man sentenced to prison on theft charges and more

CANYON CITY, OR – A man will spend time in prison following guilty pleas to multiple charges in Grant County Circuit Court. Clayton Wayne Ellis, 22, pleaded guilty to Theft in the First Degree; Theft in the Second; Conspiracy to Commit Theft in the First Degree; Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.

Ellis was sentenced to the custody of Oregon Department of Corrections for 13 months; placed on Post-Prison Supervision for 12 months and Supervised Probation for 18 months; and ordered to pay a total of $3,182.00 in joint restitution. 12 other counts were disposed with no conviction.
