Man sentenced to prison on burglary, theft charges

CANYON CITY – It’ll be prison time for a man following burglary and theft convictions, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Ryan Mitchell Kelty, 39, pleaded guilty to two counts of Burglary in the First Degree, as well as Theft in the First and Second Degrees. He also pleaded guilty to Failure to Appear in the First Degree.
Kelty was sentenced to 21 months in prison with the Oregon Department of Corrections, placed on Post-Prison Supervision for 36 months, and ordered to pay a total of $2,640 in restitution. Seven other counts were disposed with no conviction.
