CANYON CITY – A man will spend over a year in prison following conviction in Grant Country Circuit Court for luring a minor and encouraging child sex abuse.
On July 1st, 2026, Antonio Dancer, 29, pleaded guilty to four counts of Luring a Minor and one count of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, all committed in August and September of 2024.
Dancer was sentenced to 13 months in the custody of Oregon Department of Corrections, as well as 60 months on supervised probation, with an extensive list of special conditions, as well as 24 months on post-prison supervision. Special conditions include prohibition from places that exist primarily for the enjoyment of children (circuses, playgrounds, arcades, amusement parks, zoos, etc.); to not possess or access, at any time, any type of pornographic media; refraining from having any contact with any person under the age of 18; and more.
11 other counts were dismissed with no conviction.
