Man sentenced to jail on multiple charges/cases

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on charges from multiple cases, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Ian Edward Humbird, 26, recently pleaded guilty to Criminal Trespass in the First Degree, stemming from an incident in May of 2021. He also pleaded guilty to Criminal Trespass and Escape in the Third Degree from another case stemming from last April, as well as a guilty plea regarding Resisting Arrest on April 20th, 2021.

Humbird was sentenced to 22 days in jail for resisting arrest as well as one of the trespassing charges; he was sentenced to 26 days in jail on another criminal trespass charge, and 15 days for Escape III.  In addition, Humbird will be placed on Supervised Probation for 18 months and is ordered to pay a total of $400 in fines.
