Man sentenced to Grant County Jail following driving, FTA convictions

CANYON CITY – A man will spend 40 days in the Grant County Jail following convictions for a criminal driving charge and failing to show up to court.

Bodie Lee Wilder, 54, pleaded guilty to Criminal Driving While Suspended or Revoked—committed in November of 2025, and Failure to Appear on a Criminal Citation—committed in December of 2025. Wilder was sentenced to a total of 40 days incarceration in the Grant County Jail and ordered to pay a $500 traffic fine. The guilty pleas were entered on May 26^th, 2026.
