Man sentenced to Grant Co. Jail on assault charge

CANYON CITY – A man was sentenced to time in jail in Grant County Circuit Court on an assault charge recently. Tristan Logan Leroy McMahan, 23, pleaded guilty to Assault in the 4^th Degree, committed on or about March 30^th, 2025.

McMahan was sentenced to 35 days in jail and placed on Bench Probation for 18 months with special conditions. The guilty plea was entered on February 18^th, 2026. One count was disposed with no conviction.
