Man jailed on assault & menacing charges

CANYON CITY – A man will spend jail time on assault and harassment charges, according to Grant County Circuit Court Documents.

Matthew Paul Walker, 39, pleaded no contest to one count of Assault in the Fourth Degree and another count of Menacing. The charges stem from an incident in late February of this year.

Walker has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and 24 months on Supervised Probation with special conditions. One other charge was disposed with no conviction.
