Man jailed for impersonating public servant in Grant County

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on a criminal impersonation charge, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Levi Jack Hunt, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Impersonation of a Public Servant, committed around the end of February of this year.

Hunt was sentenced to 20 days in jail, 12 months on Bench Probation, and ordered to pay a $500 fine. The guilty plea was entered on June 27th.
